Picture this

I have been meaning to do some larger stamp collages to put on the wall for ages, but never got round to going to Ikea to buy the frames. Yesterday, I finally made it there and full of meatballs, trotted round and got all the things I wanted.

Nom. How cute is that cupcake?! It's elderflower flavour :D

I woke up at 6:30 this morning with the sun streaming through my window. It was set to be another very hot day. I thought I would get in the craft room and do something before it got too sticky.

I had already selected some nautical themed stamps and started laying them out

Stuck down and framed - some fish and shells

Ships from around the world

Second one is a more classic layout with butterflies and blooms

Up on the wall :)

  1. Awesome. God, I love Ikea! The nautical/aquatic stamps look particularly good in the blue frame :) xx

    1. Thanks! I tried to get frames everywhere, but none were as cheap or light weight as these Nyttja and Ram ones. I didn't want to drill holes in the wall, so they are fixed with very strong blu-tack. I don't want to be reliant on Ikea, but sometimes it is the best option (plus it has meatballs) :D

  2. They look so cute, I need to sort out some wall art out for our house, I'm currently the butt of peoples jokes for the empty frames on the walls!! Also, BIG fan of Ikea meatballs and that sauce, everytime we go we restock the freezer with them! Nom nom nom...

    1. Thanks! Be sure to blog it once you have put some art in your frames. What about a fabric picture?

The one constant in my life seems to be Ikea. London, Strasbourg, Brno - I've eaten meatballs in all of them! Only the prices change ;)
